6,5 Arisaka Giapponese

 

La 6,5 nasce nel 1897 per il fucile Giapponese mod. 38 derivato dal modello Mauser. La munizione venne poi prodotta in America dopo la diffusione di molti fucili Arisaka, preda bellica del dopoguerra, utilizzati per la caccia. I fucili di fabbricazione Giapponese risultarono più robusti di altri che utilizzarono la stessa munizione, questi permisero la ricarica di cartucce più spinte migliori per la caccia alla media selvaggina Americana. E' migliore comunque del classico .30-30 Win.
